I am up to my nostrils in marking tonight, to the point that I’m inhaling the little frilly edges that my kids are supposed to trim off their notebook paper, so this post will be a quickie.
November has been brutal for pretty much everyone I know. Five different families at my school have lost loved ones tragically in the last two weeks. Couples have broken up (no, not me and The Electrician: we’re peachy). Stuff has broken down, given up, and plain old disappeared. I had the saga of the squatter in the basement and the subsequent beating of my monthly budget. Yuck. Ick. Blech.
My grandma is still in the hospital, too. The medical folks have tried multiple types of antibiotics through her IV, and the pneumonia just won’t make like a baby and head out. Grandma is frustrated and we’re all worried about her. Being in the hospital stinks, and I hate seeing her feeling so crappy. If you’re the praying type, we’d appreciate a prayer sent in Grandma’s direction. If you’re not the praying type, we welcome some happy healing thoughts sent our way.
At the final count, November has sucked all around. The good news is there’s only one more day to wade through in this stupid month, and we get to start a brand new month. I really hope December arrives with all kinds of wonderful things in store for the people in my life, because November has truly taken it out of us.

Happy healing thoughts are en route!
Thanks Leslie. We definitely felt them get here.
I love your stuff so I gave you an award. Don’t feel obligated to acknowledge it, though. Just thought you’d want to know. http://whatimeant2say.wordpress.com/2011/12/01/im-just-not-that-into-me/
